The grant proposal should seek funding to support, inspire, and empower young men and women in these difficult situations and sow seeds of hope, resiliency, and the skills needed for a positive future.
Tasks learners need to complete to achieve the project goal include:
- Researching and understanding the specific needs and challenges faced by the target demographic.
- Developing a comprehensive grant proposal that outlines the programs and services needed to address these needs.
- Creating a detailed budget and financial plan for the proposed programs and services.
- Identifying potential grant opportunities and tailoring the proposal to fit the requirements of each funding source.
- Collaborating with Unashamed Inc. team members to gather necessary information and insights for the proposal.
Final deliverables should include:
- A well-researched and compelling grant proposal document.
- A detailed budget and financial plan for the proposed programs and services.

About the company
The mission of Unashamed Inc. is to foster emotional health in disadvantaged and at-risk youth and young adults that have experienced incarceration, homelessness, foster care, domestic violence, and teen pregnancy. Through various programs and services, we “plant seeds” to equip youth and young adults with the tools they need to dismantle unhealthy generational patterns and transition from surviving to thriving. We seek to support, inspire, and empower young men and women who have found themselves in these difficult situations and sow seeds of hope, resiliency and the skills needed for a positive future - even when they can’t see a future in sight.
